How To

Connect capture, search, labeling, and browsing without adding another note app.

Capture

  1. Use Drop for one-off URLs, notes, and files.
  2. Use Browser Save from the utility drawer for pages you want indexed later.
  3. For CJ chat exports, dry-run first, then import with the same gateway and write token.
python -m kb.chat_capture import --path export.txt --format whatsapp --origin whatsapp_cj --dry-run --json

Find

  1. Start in Search with a natural-language question.
  2. Leave Answer on when you want cited synthesis; turn it off for pure fast result paging.
  3. Open a result to refresh the detail pane, related sources, Categories, and Map.

Browse

  1. Use prompt chips to seed common searches.
  2. Use Dashboard for the live return queue, browse lanes, coverage signals, and capture cadence.
  3. Use Map after a search or selected item to see nearby sources and shared concepts.

Improve Retrieval

  1. Use Labeling for keep, dismiss, more, less, training, privacy, and eval labels.
  2. Use Categories to add tags and collections to recent or searched items.
  3. Search gets better as captures gain text, tags, collections, and feedback labels.
